In order to benefit from the exemption from liability for hosting services set out in this Regulation, the provider of the service should, upon obtaining knowledge or awareness of illegal information, act expeditiously to remove or to disable access to that information. The removal of, or the disabling of access to, information should comply with the principle of freedom of expression. In particular, it should be undertaken with due regard to the right to freedom of expression and of information, the right to respect for private and family life, the right to protection of personal data, as well as to the rights of all parties involved. In particular, the right of the provider of the content which is alleged to be illegal content should be taken into account, in full compliance with the principle of freedom of expression.
